Elaichi Dana

These little drops of sugar are used most often as a prasad offering in temples, especially in the north (India), or eaten with rice flakes during harvest time.

I believe they are called elaichi dana because they used to be made with a tiny seed of elaichi inside each one, a practice now done away with, and it is just a little, softly-crunchy sugar drop without any flavour.
